PAF is one of the oldest gambling-companies in the industry, having their background from traditional land-based acitivites but today making most of their revenue from their online operations. PAF is based on the Finnish islands of Åland, and is one of the biggest Netent casinos in the world. They have a lot of customers from the unregulated markets in Finland and Sweden, but also big databases in regulated markets such as Spain and Estonia.
Now they are scoping out another potential market. The Italian market has been on a decline the last years, but more loose regulations have now drawn more focus on the country with the fantastic culture. Late in 2014, Net Entertainment announced they were now open for business in Italy via Eurobet and GameAccount Network. A couple of days ago, PAF released a press release saying they had entered the Italian market via their acquisition of the company Winga that is an active player in the Italian gambling-market.
This is great news for Italians, as they now will probably have another Netent casino to play at. PAF says their first step is to expand Wingas offerings, so we would be surprised if they did not add Netent to Winga’s game portolio. Nice move PAF!
